Gold Rates & Gold Loans

The gold rate sets two numbers at once: what jewellery is worth, and how much it can borrow. Both update here daily — last revised 19 September 2026.

Gold Rate Today

Indicative national reference, ₹ per gram.

30-day trend: up ₹377 per gram (+2.5%) on 24K. At the RBI small-ticket cap, 22K jewellery currently supports about ₹10,561 of loan per gram.

City references today: Delhi ₹15,388 · Mumbai ₹15,373 · Chennai ₹15,463 · Kolkata ₹15,378

Gold Loan

No credit check, no income proof, same-day disbursal — and rates that start far below any unsecured loan.

Bank or NBFC? Banks price lower — roughly 8.65%–9.6% at the PSU end — but appraise on branch hours and lend on stricter purity rules. NBFCs cost more and move faster, with longer counters and doorstep pledging. The gold loan hub puts every lender's band, LTV tier and repayment structure side by side.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is BankCreds?
BankCreds is an independent financial comparison and information platform for Indian consumers. It brings together indicative rates, eligibility rules, fees and product terms for personal loans, home loans, gold loans, business loans, credit cards, fixed deposits and insurance, alongside calculators and guides that explain how each product actually works before you commit to it.
Does BankCreds provide loans directly?
No. BankCreds is not a lender, an NBFC or a bank, and it does not sanction, disburse or recover loans. It is an information and comparison platform. Every application, sanction and repayment happens directly between you and the regulated institution you choose — BankCreds is never a party to that contract.
Are the lenders listed on BankCreds RBI regulated?
The banks and NBFCs covered on the site are entities regulated by the Reserve Bank of India, and insurers are regulated by IRDAI. Because registrations can lapse or change hands, we tell readers how to check for themselves rather than asking them to take our word for it: search the lender’s legal entity name in the RBI’s published list of registered NBFCs, and confirm that any loan app names that same entity in its terms. An app that will not name its lending entity is the single clearest warning sign in Indian digital lending.
Does BankCreds charge users to compare financial products?
No. Every comparison, calculator, rate table and guide on the site is free, and none of them requires an account. BankCreds will never ask you for a fee to process, approve or release a loan — no legitimate lender does either, and any request for an advance "processing", "insurance" or "file" charge before disbursal is a fraud marker, not a normal cost.
Can I compare loans from multiple banks and NBFCs?
Yes. Loan tables cover major public-sector banks, private banks and NBFCs side by side on rate, amount, tenure and fees, with a dedicated page per lender for the details a table cannot hold. The comparison tool puts any shortlist head to head, and the EMI calculator converts the difference between two rates into the number that actually matters — total rupees repaid.
Can I compare credit cards and FD rates on BankCreds?
Yes. Credit cards are organised by how you spend — cashback, online, travel, fuel, UPI-linked RuPay, secured — rather than by rank, because the best card is a function of your own spending pattern. FD rates are mapped by institution type and tenor, with the deposit-insurance limit and senior-citizen premiums stated alongside.
Are the rates shown on BankCreds guaranteed?
No, and no comparison site can honestly promise otherwise. Every rate on BankCreds is indicative: it reflects published or observed pricing at the time of review, while the rate you are actually offered depends on your credit score, income, employer or business profile, loan size and the lender’s policy on the day. Treat our figures as a way to shortlist and to know when a quote is out of line — then confirm the final number in the sanction letter.
How does BankCreds make money?
Through advertising and referral arrangements with financial institutions, paid when a reader chooses to visit a lender. That revenue never buys editorial position: rankings, ratings and the order of rows in a comparison table are not for sale, unfavourable facts about a partner product are published the same as any other, and we would rather lose a referral than recommend a product that does not fit the reader.
How does BankCreds verify financial products and lenders?
Product details are taken from the institution’s own published material — rate cards, schedules of charges, policy wordings and regulatory filings — rather than from aggregator listings, and are re-checked on a schedule. Customer-care numbers and grievance channels are sourced from official pages and regulator directories, and where a detail cannot be verified at source we leave it blank rather than guess. Regulatory positions cite the RBI or IRDAI directly.

Start with the number, not the advertisement

Run your EMI and eligibility first — borrowers who arrive prepared get quoted differently.

Disclaimer: BankCreds.com is a loan comparison platform and does not directly lend, disburse, or provide any financial products. We aggregate and display loan offers from RBI-registered banks and NBFCs to help you make an informed decision. All loan applications are processed directly by the respective lender. Interest rates, charges, eligibility, and terms shown are indicative and subject to the lender's final assessment. Please read the lender's terms and conditions carefully before applying.
